I briefly befriended an ex-coworker at my last job on the word from a couple of fellow ex-coworkers that she was “a good woman”. Well, looking at her Facebook showed me two kids with her last name (she’s divorced), a third with another last name…then(!), a fourth with ANOTHER last name.

Doing the math, it seems like she left her two older kids with different family members so she could move across country and get knocked up by two other different babydaddies.

So, instead of getting an education out of high school, evidently, she got knocked up by a sixteen year-old guy, got married, then knocked out a few more kids in her 20s.

She lives in low-income housing with her two younger boys and I don’t think she has ANY contact with her babydaddies.

What a wreck I am glad I did NOT bother with after a few days. Especially, after she asked me out on a date that I wasn’t expecting and she went mute. Probably a good thing that she became the first woman to not want to date while she still has kids in the house, because I noticed quite a bit of my texts to her for those few days just flew right over her head…yikes.

I can agree with the author’s reasons and ANY woman who wouldn’t is just not owning up to her mistakes.
